Dan Sheridan on Iron Condors

Written on July 17, 2008 by OptionsRopeaDope

A very good webcast on on the CBOE site by Dan Sheridan that covers rules for opening iron condors in different IV environments, plus a few options on how to adjust. (If that link doesn’t take you right to the video, choose the “Dan Sheridan Archives” on the left column.) It looks like the same set of slides he used when I saw him at live a CBOE seminar back in February, and they are very good. Best presentation on them I’ve seen in fact, as he shows a few “nightmare scenarios,” such as the RUT dropping 80 points right after opening a trade, and how to protect yourself or recover when that happens.

Remember, there are several other Dan Sheridan webcasts under the videos section on this website. Enjoy!

Is this a new Sheridan video or an existing one? I followed the link and signed in with my CBOE account but all that did was direct me to the main video presentation page. What’s the title of the Sheridan video you’re referring to in this post?

    Hi,

what is the title of the Dan Sheridan video you are refering to? Is it “Dan Sheridan’s Trading Credit Spreads & Condors in a Volatile Market”? Just wasn’t sure I was looking at the same one you are trying to link to…

    Peter.

I see, it is not listed, even though it is shown under “My Recent Views” on the page. Not sure what happened to it, but hopefully it pops up later (maybe after some editing for the archive), because it really is a very good webcast.
